That International feeling...

A local celebrity, Mr A. McIntosh, admires the world view of JOTI.
We've added pins for each location we've contacted. Thanks for talking to us, world!
Su.

A faint odour wafts across the room

An underlying scent has been floating around this JOTA/JOTI site - garlic bread.
When you spend hours and hours chatting all around the world, you need to keep your energy levels up!

Caught!

Michael caught taking a stroll with teddy and handbag.

A new lifestyle choice?

News Flash!

Amid continuing aftershocks JOTI campers test fate by bringing a twister! However, the bolt of thunder from an awakened PapaBear was more than they expected!

International Flavour

The bear went over the Mountain

We have yet again received another photo which shows us a glimpse of the whereabouts of said bear.

What is going to happen? Will Sir Reinhold ever see his beary companion? How long will it take until we see him again? Why did the bear do a runner?

If anyone has seen or heard anything we would love to know

What do you think followers?

Hes going on a bear hunt....

We have received information that Sir Reinholds beloved bear has yet again disappeared, this seems to happen at every JOTI!, We managed to get hold of this photo as proof. It seems that Sir Reinhold's beloved bear is just "hanging around".

If anyone out there has any more information about the whereabouts of this particular bear we would appricate any help we can get, as tea is nearly ready and we don't want any bears going hungry.

Kind Regards

The Blogging Crew of JOTI 2010

JOTI/JOTA well underway.

After a marathon effort by the crew setting up 50 odd machines on Friday night, including an ethernet switch which wouldn't, we had a quiet start in the morning as the tents were pitched and the campers started to arrive.

With a bit of time to get familiar with the systems everyone was on and chatting. With only a third of the machines in use it was looking like overkill. Then lunch and the first round of day visitors arrived.

Since then we have had all machines in use as groups of visitors come and go.

As you can see, a hive of quiet activity. --Graham.

Earthquake Solution for Christchurch

Rumour has it that Christchurch City Council has found the solution to stop the Christchurch earthquakes. A project team has been assembled with view to rolling them out across the city. We would like to post an image but rights have been reserved so you need to click on the link instead.

Earthquake .............

The disco ball in the middle of the hall swayed a bit but nothing too much. I wonder how many more we will have over the weekend. It was a 4.6 ... so just a little one!

before Joti starts - in my garage

Before Joti starts you have to come to my garage and take out these computers!!

All plugged in and ready to roll - or in my case - to keep the Bios Battery re-charged and the motherboard  warm and dry . . . . .

I lined them up like little foot soldiers.

Sadly I did not get a shot of the empty space!!  My son did sweep out though - so thats great!!
Must see if I can get another shot of them when they have returned!!!
